Reforms to address illegal phoenix activity

On 12 September 2017, the Turnbull Government announced a comprehensive package of reforms to address illegal Phoenixing.

As part of this package, the Government is consulting on reforms to the tax and corporations law to deter and disrupt the core behaviours of phoenix operators, including non-directors such as facilitators and advisers.
