The government is updating the annual superannuation performance test to address issues raised in Treasury’s review of the Your Future, Your Super laws.
The government is now seeking stakeholder views on exposure draft regulations.
The regulations:
- amend the testing period, benchmarks and notification letter that trustees of failed products send to members
- provide minor technical changes to improve accuracy, reduce administrative burden for APRA and ensure the test is fit‑for‑purpose when it is extended to trustee‑directed products.
