On 5 December 2017 the Government opened a request for information (RFI) to explore solutions for a potential whole-of-government registry platform. Responses to the RFI were welcomed from a broad range of businesses, and were due by 15 January 2018.

The Government will make a decision on next steps following the evaluation of the responses to the RFI.
