Have your say – Yorke Peninsula Region Public Health Plan
The Councils of Barunga West, Copper Coast and Yorke Peninsula are working together to review our Public Health Plan for the Yorke Peninsula Region. The plan will say what the Councils will do to support the region’s public health for the next 5 years.
Public health is about promoting health and wellbeing, including mental health, preventing illness and protecting communities from environmental risks. Councils support public health by providing open space, sport and recreation facilities and community facilities, events and programs that support wellbeing. They also provide environmental health services.
This survey will ask what matters to you most about your community’s public health and what you would like the Councils to do. Your ideas will help to prepare our draft Public Health Plan.
Survey closes 5pm 16 June 2026.
This survey is about public health which is about preventing illness and injury in a community. It is not about health care e.g. doctors and hospitals.
