Overview

This consultation is seeking feedback on the Energy Industry Jobs Plan (EIJP) in the context of the scheduled closure of Gladstone Power Station.

The Net Zero Economy Authority (NZEA) is seeking your feedback to understand how workers and businesses are likely to be impacted when the station closes, what support workers can already access, and what opportunities are available in the region.

Information collected through this consultation process will be used to help the NZEA’s CEO assess whether the EIJP is necessary and if so, whether to apply to the Fair Work Commission for the EIJP to be established for the Gladstone Power Station closure.
